Join us for another Joy Ride in Colorado Springs, CO, on Sunday, April 9, 2023! MTB only! . 

Schedule:

10 AM: Meet us at Cheyenne Mountain High School in their lower parking lot by the football field for a Suspension Tuning Clinic by SRAM and Ted’s Bicycles, and pre-ride socializing.

11 AM: Roll out to start ride from Stratton Open Space East Trailhead.

1 PM: Return to Cheyenne Mountain High School for some spring cleaning! We will have a bike wash station set up, and the Nikki special for post-ride refreshments! 🍩🖤

Route Details:

The route covers ~4 miles and 600 feet elevation gain per lap. We will plan on riding at least 2 laps. The trails are a mix of green and blue difficulty levels with gradual climbing and a wide downhill trail with flow, big berms, and tabletop features. This is a NO DROP ride where we will maintain a social pace <5-10 mph, and make stops as necessary to regroup. We estimate 1.5 to 2.5 hours of riding time depending on the group's pace.

Safety: Please bring a toolkit for fixing flats and minor mechanical issues on the trail. The ride leaders will have some tools and a small med kit, but we encourage all riders to be prepared for their own safety.
