We are halfway through our Mini-Grant programming for the year and it has been going SO well. If you’ve been paying attention you’ve probably seen the purple jersey’s with the yellow sleeves popping up at races and on instagram. Now you can get your own!
We had our first win of the season at Tulsa Tough. I was on the beach watching the live stream on my phone. Rachel Parker sprinted over the finish line in her team abundance kit and I screamed! Then I cried. I could always spot my riders on the live stream thanks to the beautiful design by team Auntie Sam Scipio.
The Mini-Grant program has never been about results. The whole point was to give folks resources and the opportunity to attend Tour of America’s Dairyland and see if they enjoyed bike racing.
Oh how things have grown! In 2022, Thee Abundance Mini-Grant p/b Zwift is supporting 12 riders. We’ve added Thee Abundance Micro grant p/b SRAM, and Team Abundance p/b Liv.
Between all these programs we’ve been able to support over 40 women, with the numbers still growing!
