With grants, workshops, skills clinics, and more, Thee Abundance Project is dedicated to creating more confident road bike riders and racers of color. In time we hope we’ll see more women of color racing in the pro peloton.

Ayesha McGowan (she/they) is the first African-American woman pro road cyclist, ever. After racing in the UCI women's world tour for Liv Racing TeqFind in Europe for three years, she is moving on to new adventures. Ayesha is extremely passionate about creating representation in cycling that will encourage and inspire other African-American women and youth to follow their dreams whatever they may be.
